My Role

The Problem
LEGO wanted to start trading in the German market, on the eBay platform.
In Germany eBay works differently from eBay.co.uk- users can explore the map, see where the stock is and compare the prices.
Research
I familiarised myself with a brand and guidelines. As well as, I explored eBay.de platform and limitations. I gathered a competitor analysis, too.
Design
After wireframing, three step approach presented itself as a best solution:
1. Shop homepage featuring the product and product groups
2. After the category is selected, user can explore the products and see how many offers the product has real time (https://lego.ebay.de/lego/shop-in-shop/index.html#/category/12)
3. Product page was challenging, as there was a lot of information to highlight above the fold. Product images and description was a must, together with a map to explore the offers.
If user would like to filter the results, there is also a table below to explore the offers. (https://lego.ebay.de/lego/shop-in-shop/index.html#/product/279109)
To enhance the experience, I also designed micro-interactions working with a front end developer.
